Joanna Marino, PhD specializes in work with children, adolescents, and families dealing with emotional and behavioral health issues. She specializes in treating Anorexia Nervosa, OCD/Anxiety, Hair-pulling/Skin-picking, self-injury, and chronic suicidality. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Maudsley Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She works with "high conflict" couples using Alan Fruzzetti's DBT approach. Joanna is intensively trained and a certified clinician by Behavioral Tech/Linehan Institute in DBT for adolescents and adults and DBT for Children (DBT-C). She is certified by the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) of the International OCD Foundation and by Train2Treat EDs in Maudsley Family-Based Treatment for adolescent eating disorders.
Alyson Nuno, LPC is a licensed, Master's level clinician specializing in the treatment of pervasive emotion dysregulation, mood and anxiety disorders, self-injury, and chronic suicidality. She has provided treatment to adolescents and adults in both individual and group settings. Alyson has specific training and experience utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She has received extensive training on the instruction and implementation of DBT Skills through participation in advanced trainings offered by Behavioral Tech/Linehan Institute as well as the Treatment Implementation Collaborative. She believes in modeling a balance of acceptance and change strategies to help clients collaboratively build their own life worth living.
Casey Baginski MPH, MSW, LCSW is a Dialectical Behavior Therapy Linehan Board of Certification certified clinician.
Casey came to DBT for the behaviorism and stayed for the dialectics. She has a particular interest and expertise in working with individuals with pervasive emotional dysregulation, self injurious and suicidal behaviors, as well as Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. She has extensive training in DBT, ERP, and other behaviorally-based interventions. In addition to her direct practice, Casey supervises clinical social workers in delivering evidence-based treatments.
Casey has worked in varying capacities in the field of mental health across multiple settings since 2009. Among these, include the New York State Psychiatric Institute, New York Presbyterian Hospital, and the DBT-focused outpatient clinics. She graduated from Vassar College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and received her graduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
